Bruno Moya

Bruno Moya is a psychedelic therapist, a Marine combat veteran, who was drawn to study the shamanic and therapeutic benefits of psychedelics and how they benefit combat veterans struggling with PTSD, TBI, and spirituality.

Bruno joined the United States Marine Corps in 2001, deployed to Iraq for the invasion and served as a combat instructor before received an Honorable discharge in 2008.

Soon after, Bruno began his education at the College of Southern Nevada, transferring and graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) with a BA in psychology and masters in social work.

He was critical in developing an advocacy program for student veterans to research and advocate for veterans education benefits on the state and federal level.

Bruno was important in drafting language and advocating for numerous State bills impacting Veteran’s education in the State and federally.

Bruno is currently at the end of a three year international program, AWE, studying psychedelic therapy where he travels to communities that incorporate psychedelics as part of their cultural practice.

Bruno served as the Program Manager for Merging Vets and Players, he co-founded the Nevada Coalition for Psychedelic Medicine and is currently a Research Analyst for the Legislative Counsel Bureau, Constituent Services Unit. Bruno is married and has two daughters.
