Cal Nez

Cal Nez is a Diné (Navajo) elder born of the Tachiini clan burn for the Tanaaszani clan. He has lived in both worlds of traditions and entrepreneurship by starting the first Native American Graphic Design Company in 1986 in Salt Lake City Utah. He comes from a long lineage of medicine men and women. Cal was raised in a traditional hogan, by his grandparents, where only the Diné language was spoken. He grew up rooted in his culture and spiritual traditions and now shares that blessing with the world.

Cal is a master artist, wisdom keeper and light carrier of the ancient codes, which come through the mountains and activate all life on earth. Rooted in the Beauty Way, Cal shares his knowledge and practice as he continues to walk the corn pollen road by leading traditional Diné ceremonies, educational classes and prayers for the future generations.

Cal bridges the teachings of the North and South American continents, offering guidance, balance and a remembrance to each and every person. He walks humbly in the medicine circle, working closely in sacred arts and healing center located in La Misión BC, Mexico. With honor and love he offers the songs, prayers, and ancestral knowledge to the local & global communities.
